How to use it
1. Preparation
- Wash your hair: use the Myriam•K Paris® shampoo of your choice to cleanse your scalp and hair.
- Dry your hair: make sure your hair is completely dry before using the dermaroller.
2. Disinfection
- Disinfect the dermaroller: immerse it in 70% alcohol for about 10 minutes before use to avoid any infection, and let it dry before using.
3. Applying the Dermaroller
- Divide your hair: separate your hair into sections to make the scalp easier to reach.
- Roll: apply light pressure and roll the dermaroller over the scalp in different directions: horizontally and vertically.
- Repeat each movement 4 to 5 times in each direction on each section.
- Duration: spend about 5 to 10 minutes using the dermaroller across your whole scalp.
4. After application
- Disinfect again: clean the dermaroller with alcohol after use.
- Growth serum: apply the growth serum immediately after using the dermaroller. The micro-perforation allows the serum's actives to penetrate better.
- Massage gently: gently massage the serum into the scalp to support absorption.
5. Frequency of use
- 1 to 2 times a week: for effective use, we recommend using the dermaroller on the scalp 1 to 2 times a week. This allows the scalp to recover between sessions.
6. Precautions
- Do not use on an irritated or injured scalp. Avoid applying too much pressure, to prevent injury.
- Listen to your body: if you feel excessive pain or irritation, reduce the frequency or consult a professional.
- Clean the dermaroller after each use by disinfecting it with 70% alcohol and leaving it to air dry.
- Do not share your dermaroller with anyone else, for hygiene reasons. Avoid using the dermaroller on a scalp that is irritated or has cuts or infections.
- Consult a healthcare professional before using the dermaroller if you have any underlying health conditions or are following a specific medical treatment.
Do not use on grazed or irritated skin, on active skin conditions, or on sensitive skin areas. Keep out of reach of children. Sterilise with alcohol before and after each use. If the needles are damaged or bent, do not use. Sun exposure should be avoided after using the device.
