How to Use

For preparation, wash hair twice with a clarifying shampoo ideally Myriam•K Clarifying Shampoo available on our site to remove residue and impurities, then blow-dry to about 80%. Put on gloves, shake the French Smoothing Treatment bottle, and apply the product one centimeter away from the scalp, working from lengths to ends in even layers. Comb through to distribute without overloading.

Leave on for 30 minutes for normal hair, 40 minutes for virgin hair, and 60 minutes for coarse or very curly hair. Rinse thoroughly without shampoo. Blow-dry as smooth as possible, then flat iron in very fine sections (about 0.5 cm). Set the temperature at 230 °C / 450 °F with 10 passes. Allow hair to cool for a few seconds to lock in the shape. You can wash your hair whenever you like afterward—even right after finishing. For longer-lasting results, use the Myriam•K Anti-Frizz Collection and always apply heat protection before styling with heat tools.

For external use only. Gloves must be worn. The treatment may lighten hair color by 2 to 3 shades. Color can be applied one week after the treatment, but make sure to wash your hair twice before applying dye. Do not apply on highlighted, damaged, or brittle hair.

In case of eye contact, rinse immediately and thoroughly. Keep out of reach of children. Avoid use on white or overly sensitized hair. Work in a ventilated room and always perform a strand test if in doubt.
